Not sure how many of you know about this, It attaches to your Gamecube so you can play any gameboy games out, ITs comes out this thursday and will be $49.99, OR if you havent gotten a GC yet, most finer reatilers wil be giving it away free with the purchase of a GC. Just thought I would share because I wanted a GBA, but for $50 I can just use my TV ;)

Thats the silliest thing i've read in a while, what makes GBA games any different than console games? Because they were designed for a portable platform makes the games "portable" only? Mmmmmkay..Quote:

Anyway, yea im getting the GBPlayer this week along with Advance wars 2, been waiting for them for a while, my GBA has a lot of dust on it for that reason since i really didnt have any immediate reasons to buy a GBA SP and with GBPlayer coming, i knew i would play most of my GBA games on TV.
When does Advance Wars 2 come out???

i didnt buy my gba so i could play games on my tv i want to be able to take the damn thing with me incase i get bored
Yes you bought your GBA platform to be portable with you, it doesnt mean that the games shouldnt be played on TV via GBPlayer.
The games are still games much like old and current consoles had.
Some of the games on the system are fantastic, and being able to play them on the TV is better than having to stare at that tiny screen.Quote:

if you dont have a GC you can just use the GBA=>Component Video adapter that they sell on alot of sites... theyve had that around for a long time too and cheaper

I've seen the GBA TV output hack from a friend and when i compared it with his GBPlayer he imported from japan, the image quality is in a league of its own on GBPlayer.
Good solution for those without a gamecube though
