Start it up and the controller card says its not found, restart and it sees it but then I get a corrupt disk error. I suppose I'll just RMA them both. I hate IBM.

Look at this list...what GXP family does yours belong to and how big is it?
I RMA'ed by 45gig 75GXP and got a brand new 60gig 180GXP.
Is it making the "click of death" noise?
They made the click of death noise way back when I had em' in Raid 0 config and for a few times the raid array could not be found, then I backed them up and only used one with a slot space above and below it free and a 80mm fan directly on it, the ones been runnin fine switched it for the other and apparently its the bad one out of the two. Either way I want both RMA'ed. I don't care what they give me as long as its now a 60/75gxp and 60gb or more, then I'm just gonna sell them. I want small HD's, and I got big ones for data.Quote:
