i only read about it last week, and it was only available in Europe, until now.
easy connection using the exisiting holes in most motherboards.
you can then take the original Northbridge and slap in on the Southbridge, a little superglue gel and some arctic alumina................................
got one on the way.

Thats a little pricey. For that I could get a Sk6 or 2 and slice em up to fit.
but i am getting lazy, have too many other things going on since i went back to work full time (took four years off to just play).
and, i have seen what i believe was an all copper sk-6 modded to fit with a slightly modded heavy nylon lock strap through the mb holes already there on most boards.
my prommie head was a concern, so i opted for the slightly smaller kit for clearance.

considering good sink kits are going in the $20+ range for eight admitedly heavier sinkage, it seems to be a fair price.
i am pretty sure my first NF7-s Rev 2 failed because of some extra mofset heat, it is presently in for RMA, using a new NF7 in the meantime, going to us the kit on the replacement when it gets here.

that fan is a jet-engine: 10.8cfm @ 8200rpm. That's the highest revving fan i've ever come across. It's gotta make an annoying as hell whine! :/
i have a partner, we buy houses on the cheap, remodel and sell for a profit, do about two per year, works for me.
i dable a bit building computers for clients, then there is the stuff i don't want the irs to find out about..................
actually, mom and pop passed away, and me and my bro spit the estate, i hammered through all of it.
better than trying to enjoy same stuffs when 80 years old, i say.

fans can always be changed, hopefully it isn't a mini jet engine, and you will notice it is enclosed, which should cut down on the noise some.

hey, the real good thermaltake Crystal Orb is $14.
by comparison, i think the Microcool Northpole chipset cooler is far superior, plus the little ram sinks.

Sure it looks nice, but an SK-6 can be had for around the same sort of $$ and they fit straight onto most Nf2 mobo's.
those little HS's that come with it are worth a LOT of money though. Those can be used to cool gfx memory. Tweakmonster charges $25 for a set of 8 sinks. :eek:. With that package, you get NB cooling plus the small HS's to use however u like. :)

edit: I like how they suspend the fan over the heatsink using that shroud. Eliminates that dead spot:)
