How in the world can I route the AC cord from my Eheim>out of my case>into a wall socket>and still be able to close my side panel? I'm really lost and I wanna do it without having to drill a big, ugly hole somewhere! :)
Any ideas?

Can't you run it out the back of your case? Just take some of the PCI slot covers off, get some cutters and vut the aluminum strip out and run it through that.
In order to do that, you will have to cut a part of the cord(the end part that goes in the socket) because its too big to go through the little pci slots. But that's what I did. I cut a part off of each side of the end so that it would fit through.Quote:

How would I go about cutting it? It's pretty dang hard.

Yay! Why can't they just @$#^& make the cords the way I want them!?
Are you ok?lol I don't know how you would go about cutting that cord. It looks a lot different from the standard cord I have.
And you know you can always get a rely switch. But then you have to cut through your case.
I'm fine. Just a little pissed off at myself 'cause I knew I was gonna cut up my finger. I can't figure out what to do with the cord. Bleh.
I think I'll just cut a divider of aluminum running between the pci slot to run it through.
could just lop off the end of the cord and then
put it back together when u get it through
the back o the case
:)
u have three options to do this without cutting your case up.. 1 u can open your power supply and solder the wire to the off on switch on the back of your power supply or, option number 2 they make a relay that fits in to a pci slot it dosent actually do anything electricly through the pci slot with the motherboard it just uses the pci slot for support. relay
or, 3 do what the person suggested above
