There's some BIOS settings I can't find enough info about to set for best performance. I've checked several places including RoJaks.
1) DRAM Idle Timer
2) DRAM Burst Length
3) OnBoard LAN Boot ROM
4) PCI IDE BusMaster
Any help greatly appreciated.

3) boot ROMS are used on terminals where they have no hard drives so everything is run of the server and displayed on the terminal, the boot ROM tells the computer where to go to find the boot image etc...
Well, that's one I can just disable -- thanks :) :cool:Quote:

On my board I set the DRAM Idle Timer to T1, I was able to overclock without rebooting. Seems my memory doesnt like tight timings and read that the corsair needed a T1 setting. The only T1 that i could find in the bios was this - lol
I hope we aren't talking about the same setting. My choices are: Infinite, 0T, 8T, 16T, 64T, and Auto. I think you are refering to Commnad Drive Strength, which I can't find anywhere :D BIOS = 1006. Can't update to 1007 -- having trouble with floppy.Quote:
