Well it fits on most motherboards and fits fine on my GF3, I think it would be ok on your 9800Pro. I wouldnt recommend it though, since she's loud as hell and there are better cooling solutions out there.
Thanks for the info. I could hook it into my AWESOME NEXUS 201 fan controller (hehe) if its a good cooler tho. What's your opinion? Tried other coolers?Quote:

Um I kinda wish I never would have bought it actually. I didn't even notice a change in temp on my card, and only gained like 5 mhz on the core. Plus it runs at 6500 rpm, so it's loud.Quote:

Personally, with a card like the 9800Pro, I would check out the Zalman fanless heatsink, or evem the Thermaltake Giant 2. I've heard that there is some room under the Tt so maybe you could stick some sinks on the RAM
Hope this helps:)
edit: Just remembered something...one thing I noticed is that the push pins on the Orb are maybe a tad too long, so the heatsink doesn't sit very tight on the core. ATI cards have that shim though, so I'm sure it will fit differently on your card.
OS-Wiz, don't wanna steer you wrong again but have you seen this? : http://www.bit-tech.net/review/229/1 It can be mounted on a 9800Pro too ;) . Just throwing in an alternative option here.:) ;) I think it's called ZM80C-HP, I'm waiting for it myself ;) :) .
yeah that corb is pretty loud.. had it threw it away .. i wouldn't get it..
If it were my descision, I would have to go with the Zalman Heatpipe cooler, and a nice high-cfm 80mm fan. :)
I may NEVER take one of your suggestions again :D :p I did decide to keep the IceBerq 4, but will suppliment it with the Video-1-80 Cooler from 1coolpc.com. That fan will not only reach both sides of my vid card but also the NB. For $17.15 shipped its worth a try :cool:Quote:

OUCH! Still smarting from my last suggestion, eh?:o :D Glad you've found a solution to your cooling needs;) :D . I'm looking for a good NB cooler and the ZALMAN ZM80C-HP, trying for a higher score BUT I'm taking my time 'bout it. Don't feel the urge to bench as of now:p . (I've noticed that benching comes in waves, sometimes I'm into it and sometimes...I'm just too freaking lazy to even think 'bout benching!:oQuote:

Agreed, benching comes and goes :D I especially don't like the condition it leaves my case -- wires everywhere, things sticking out here and there, beer cans in the bottom along with empty pretzel bags, jeez, what a mess! :D :cool:Quote:
