I just put together a new computer -antec lanboy with antec true blue 350watt-gigabyte kt600 mobo-xp 2500+-kingston hyperx pc -3000 ddr-powercolor radeon 9700np,everything is NOT overclocked.I got a freeze in graphics (BF 1942)and today my computer rebooted by itself!! help me!My 9700 worked fine in my last case with my old 350 smartpower atnec powersupply.
Although you might not have anything overclocked, it still may be the case that your system is overheating. Make sure your heatsink and fan are making proper connections and that all your fans are blowing properly. If you're still having problems, try switching power supplies to see if that helps. If the problem persisits start trying to isolate the bad part(s) by removing hardware piece by piece.
I have been playing around in the bios and I had everything set to top performance.I loaded the optimized defaults and everything has been ok now so far,but that might change.I think I had my memory timings too aggressive.
