It's a guide, not a handle. It slides into a slot in the case to keep full-length PCI cards from flexing. The next time you've got your case open, look at the front of the case and you'll see slots for the guides on full-length PCI cards to slide into. Those slots are usually near the front intake fan on mid-tower cases unless you've removed 'em.
Mine doesn't have them :o
it's a generic, cheapo $15 case
I'll check newegg for case pictures to get an idea
Go to this page and look at the third picture. It looks like the slots are built into the green fan shroud, which is pretty common.Quote:

Or this page's third picture, where the slots are white.
definitively my case doesn't have those. Wouldn't the guides block the air flow from the fan
