It looks really nice in person I am getting a nice 31 degrees celcius (idle) temp now that the blowhole up top isn't choked w/PS wires!!
What do you guys think?

Looking sharp! I am looking to do the same thing with my wires. I am tired of seeing my CCFL wires laying at the bottom of the case, lol.
Best 10bucks Iv'e spent, and not a single zip-tie in their 8)
Where'd you get the wire loom? Automotive store?
Yup got it at "PepBoys" got 10' of the 1/4" stuff and a little length of 1/2" for the ATX power connector. The whole job took about an hour from start to finish, luckily my case allows me to reomeve 4 screws on the back and slide the PSU right out.Quote:

Notice in the pic I cut off all the extra wires that were not being used, I saved one extra power supply however in case I ever want to add a second hardrive. That alone saved a TON of space up top. I like how my PSU and my blowhole can breathe freely for the first time now! I used to stuff/hide all the excess wires and crap up their:eek:
Thanks for that last pic, gives me some ideas :) I think I am gonna go out and buy some wire loom soon to clean up my case. I notice some zip-ties! :D
Hey, you got the same exact case as me (well, i got the azure/blue color tint), and a blue CCFL as well :D Great case, isn't it? My PSU came with plastic covered metal mess already surounding the wires, but I still will need to do the rest of the ide/etc cables once its all done and finished (still in the process of ordering/building). Great job on the cabling though, looks good :)
lookin nice and tidy in there. Good Job !! :D
Yeah its a really sweet case;) I forgot to mention the black rounded cables that connect the DVCD and the CDRW to IDE 1&2 are "cooler master" and the little flat red "pig tail" cable is the SATA connector for the harddrive, they were all done by me awhile ago..
That looks really nice. I should try some of that sometime.
How's that fan working out for you? If I'm not mistaken it's a TMD (or something similar) that has it's "motor" on the corners of the fan. What are your temps like? I would expect that to work very well as it still keeps up about 40 cfm without the "dead spot" in the center...:)
Tip-Magnetic Driving Fan or TMD is working awesome for me, its the coolest CPU I've had in years. Only drawback is it sounds like a friggin Cessna thats ready for take-off!Quote:

Forgive my ignorance but did you say that curly red while is your IDE cable? Do you have to buy a special motherboard and drive to get this? It looks so much easier to connect than all the stinking flat white IDE cables I have in my case. How do I get this? Also, are you still using the old style IDE cables for your DVD and CDRW drive? I couldn't tell by the pics. Very nice setup. It looks so clean you are making me jealous. :D
The curly red cable is a SATA cable and the motherboard has to support it.
Thats a fine looking case and PowerSupply Wiring job.
I like how you cut off the extra PS Cables you didn't need.
Why can't PS Company's (ANTEC, ENERMAX, etc) make them where you can just unplug the unused ones. It would be nice to be able to Unplug and plug them back in when needed.
