you may be getting an error and it's restarting by default, to change this right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced tab -> Startup and Recovery -> uncheck Automatically reboot. if it is an error it should show it now and if you need help with it post back with the error
Thanks I hope that helped.
EDIT: It didn't work. So I don't know what to do. Do you have any other suggestions?
enable APM in power managerment.
Now when I shut down, I get a blue screen and a message that it is going to dump some memory? Then I just restart and it's fine. Weird.
Do you have SP4? I was having problems similar to yours and SP4 quickly fixed them:)
I do have SP4. Now this is weird. Every time I try to copy a cd with CloneCd it restarts. Also when I restart, my mouse doesn't work. But if I restart it more than once it works. I think I should reinstall Windows. What do u guys think?
EDIT: Also if I don't have SP4 which I'm pretty sure I have, I'm dl'ing it right now. Also how do you remove items from startup in Win2KPro?
Well you can download reg cleaner, which is what I use and it works great:)Quote:
