I have Norton Utilities 2002. I only had installed WinDoctor and Speed Disk. So I suppose that UnErase will not work if I installed it after of the deleted files.
It´s my win2k pro machine on NTFS.

R.I.P:(
damn :(
There are programs that will attempt to recover deleted files, and they usually work pretty well if the space the files occupied on the drive hasn't been overwritten after they were deleted. Ontrack EasyRecovery is one program that does this. Norton Utilities used to be able to, but I haven't used NU in years, so I can't say if they still include that functionality.
i think norton does it if you use the norton protected recycle bin?
EasyRecovery is king, you might even be able to find the free Tiramisu program ER is based on. no guarantees of getting back your data, but it's worth a shot.
>doing a quick google search, it appears that EasyRecovery has bought Tiramisu. ? (someone correct me if i'm wrong.) you might find an old shareware version somewhere though, if it's still legal.
thanks for the tips guys! but it wasn´t neccesary. It turned out the folders were moved to another folder. A lot of people (10-15) were using my computer and so I suppose someone accidentlly moved the folder.
I thought they were deleted because when I emptied the recycle bin, I released 14GB so the first thing I thought were my files. Lucky me
