hey all,
I have a rather simple question. Is there anyway to have Windows Xp automatically change the wallpaper on my desktop every day or so?
I have a number of wallpapers and I'd just like to have them randomly displayed every day or so, like the slideshow feature in 'My pictures', except with desktop wallpaper.
Is there anyway to do this? Or is there a program that will do this?
P.S. In case I didnt make it clear, I want to be able to choose which wallpapers the computer will cycle through.
Make a web page whose background is changed periodically through scripting. Set that web page as your desktop background.

I´m also interested in changing wallpapers.
My university has a program on several computers that periodically changes the wallpaper but I forget what it is called. I'll look into it.

I don´t know how to make webpages, so I´ll need to ask some friends for advice
I remember using a program in college that periodically changed my wallpaper, desktop themes, etc. It was a nice little app. I can't recall the name of it, though. You might find a suitable alternative here. Several of those are even freeware.

I've tried most of the programs mentioned (even the ones in download.com). I give thanks for that. But I didn't manage to find one that supports correctlly multiple monitors.
It would be nice if it supports changing the wallpaper on each monitor, but I would be happy if it uses the same wallpaper on each monitor that it'll stretch it (1600*1200 and 800*600)
I have dual monitors and didnt even know it was possible to manually set the wallpaper to be different on each monitor, let alone with a 3rd party program.
In the past, I have manually merged a 1024x768 and a 1280x1024 image side-by-side to form a 2304x1024 image that I used as my desktop background for both monitors. It made the illusion that I was using separate backgrounds, but was really only one image. If you were to take the time to do this to the images you want, you could then use one of the standard background switching programs mentioned above.
