Anyone know of a good website to buy games from? I'm hoping to pay less if I buy them online, or am I asking for too much?

GoGamer.com is an excellent choice. Their prices are some of the best I've seen on new games anywhere. If you're looking for older PC games, you can find some really good bargains. You'll routinely see big name older games priced around $10 or so.
Thx, I checked it out and it's not too bad :) .Quote:

Why, Electronics Boutique of course. They have great prices and service. Just check out their Reseller Rating!
Their prices seem a little high at times thoughQuote:

Big bump to GoGamer.
They don't really advertise on other sites so they can keep their prices down. Great service, and they have import games too. And they have the 30usd BF1942 (minus manual).
While EB does have great service and reliability, they do NOT have good prices.Quote:

Very rarely will you ever find anything at EB you could not find cheaper somewhere else.
That's not saying EB's prices are bad per se, but they are about as average and standardized as you get. New games will be $50, old games will be slightly cheaper. There's no such thing as a blow-out deal, special, or bargain at EB. About as "wild" as they get with their prices are throwing in a keychain when you preorder a $50 game. Whoop dee doo.
I usually just buy my games locally @ EB cause I would rather pay a bit extra than wait an extra day or two to play, but if you want to go the online route, apart from what has been mentioned, I would assume newegg would have some good prices.
Ebay.
I got:
Shogun:Total War
Europa Universalis I
Imperialism II
Warlords: Battlecry
Civ Call to Power
Civ Test of Time
All for 13 bucks. For brand-new games, you will pay about the same as retail stores, so it is not worth it, but if you want some slightly older games, you can get a real deal.
On a side note, I found the Windows 95 version of my beloved Colonization for two bucks. I wasn't even aware this was anything but a DOS game. I can finally play again under windows XP, yay!
I've had pretty good luck right here at the F/S thread at Sharky's :)
Pay for Games? Please elaborate on this foreign idea, I take it deals with the interchanging of money for goods, correct?
;)
Hmm.. I don't know why you people actually buy games from the internet! I just go to the store and get what I want. I've never had games bought over the net. I live in Russia, and I guess that would be a major problem.
Anyway, on topic, I've heard a lot of good things about Ebay! Good prices, good games.
You're so k3wl. I mean no one else knows how to get games for free do they?!Quote:

You'd be surprised how many don't.
A few FREE suggestions:
Subspace/Continuum - www.subspacehq.com
Grand Theft Auto - www.rockstargames.com
Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - http://games.activision.com/games/wolfenstein/
And yes, I am k3wl, glad someone else realises that!
I usually go to best buy and use their high end alienware systems to try out some of the games that are installed on the system...then I just walk 20 feet and pick up whatever one I want...
