9800xt? meh I liked the 9900 pro name better, but I can see why. guys, dont waste your money on an overclocked radeon 9800, wait for the r420 "loci" thats the big deal. even if the 9800xt overclocked a bit higher for 200 more marks, meh

But then you can o/c the R9800XT to xxx/xxx speeds.;) :p
And also, xbitlabs said this card'll do 7K 3D Mark 03 so I'm thinking there are other improvements as well.
I doubt the R9800XT (if that's really what it's going to be called) will only be a clock speed increase. I'm sure there'll be some core refinement and perhaps a couple of tweaked/enhanced features.
Hey AMD_Man, you still working for ATi? I remember back in the THGC days you said you did some software work for them. That must've been pre-Catalyst days lol...
