My friend has a rich friend who I talked to whos barton xp3000 is at 3.4GHz now on a prometeia. sounds mighty impressive, maybe some of you guys should go the amd route and see how they clock up. a 3.4GHz barton would surely give even a 4GHz p4c a good run, eh?

Sounds like flagrant BS to me. The highest clocked Barton in the world was a hand picked 3200+, cooled by LN2, at insane voltage (it died shortly thereafter), and it only ran at 3.5Ghz. I call BS on this guy (or you).
