Umm, couldn't you just copy the floppy?
the thing is I had the boot floppy for along time and that and my floppy drive is starting to crap out. (I don't really have any decent shape diskette anymore)Quote:

also since booting/running from an IMage in my HD is way FASTER than runing off the actual thing. doesn't temporialy "freeze" my machine either

I'm not sure but maybe you could use a program like ISO-Buster. Do a Google search and you will find it.

Winimage
IsoBuster does not make images. It reads and extracts from the images.
