The admin gave me a box of random stuff and there were a couple of these. Never laid sight on them before.

wow what the hell....

What are those words right next to the DEll logo????
Could this be some old RAM???
Could this be apart of an old server???
hehe :)
At first I thought I got some more RAM, there were two of 'em stuck in a static bag. Then I looked at them later I'm like WTH? I've barely played with RDRAM so that's all I can think of. It just seems to look a little off for a 232 crimm?
It says Copyright 1999 all rights reserved. There are almost no markings on it, just one longggg number on the back which brings up nothing in Google.Quote:

Aha, thank muisejt :) It all makes sense now :D
It is damn sexy.
looks like a CIMM (i think that's what is called) which is the terminator card for Rambus pairs. then again it could be a slot1 terminator, but i never new the needed that. (which i really don't think they do)
I think Dell makes it.
Yes, I am the master of the obvious!

Processor Integration Issues
If using a single processor, make sure that a terminator card is installed securely in the secondary slot. This card is required in the absence of a second processor
Was gonna say, CRIMMs don't have that much stuff on them...
my bad, thanks for clearing it. hell i don't always know every single thing about computers.
