The Perfect Case
I'm having a seriously hard time finding the perfect case.
For months I've been browsing and searching for a full tower case that isn't exceptionally expensive, pre-modded, or of cheap make or bad design.
My goal ultimately is to use a peltier on my CPU with water cooling on CPU, GPU and northbridge. I want a case that can accomodate all of this gear and still have a little breathing room.
I also want it to be very moddable. No pre-modded crap at all.
The closest thing I've found is this:
AOpen H700A
Does anyone have experience with this case, or even better, recommend a better one for my needs?
Many thanks :)

If you swap drives a lot or just have a habit of moving things around now and then, watch out for those upper bays. I have a similar, but much older, model case that's missing the lower 3.5" bays, so my hard drives have to go above the PSU. It's rather cramped when you populate both the rear 3.5" bays and the 5.25" bays up front. I'm also only able to use a single device on one IDE channel because the 3.5" rack is so high up in the case (you'll need 24" or longer cables).
If you're not going to use the upper 3.5" rack, I don't see a problem with it (it's easy to take out, too, if you want to put a radiator or pump up there). AOpen's significantly improved the cooling options of the case and included the lower 3.5" bays, and hopefully they've rounded the edges wherever there are holes this time around, because my case is pretty brutal if you catch a hand/finger on something. All in all, it's not a bad case, though the price is just a wee bit high in my opinion.

Well it looks like that link didn't work, the case is a chieftech and its at the very bottom of the list in the case category.

You might as well spend the extra $70 and buy a Lian Li pc-70/pc-71, unless you have something against Lian Li. You'll be using the case for a while and you won't be upset with the investment once you get it :D.

Ara-Loki I won't be using the upper-rear 3.5" bays, I'm thinking I can stick the radiator back there as you mentioned. Thanks for the input, so you have a similar (just older) model?
I should have mentioned this though... no Chieftec style cases! Unless there is some driving reason to, it's just not what I'm looking for style-wise. I know, they are good cases, I've used them, just not for me.
As far as the Lian-Li goes, I have very mixed feelings about Lian-Li. On one hand they look pretty sweet, are a reputable brand and are known to make quality cases. But on the other hand, sometimes I just see $70 worth of parts and $100 worth of name. ;)
Budget is a concern too.
Not to say I wouldn't consider one, but maybe I should explain a few of the ideas I have for the case. For starters I want to paint it with a deep blue, silver, or possibly shell, metallic mirror finish. I would feel awful buying all that aluminum and just painting it. I also have one of those lightning balls which I want to somehow incorporate into the case. I will cut my own custom window as well. Also one idea I had, although I'm not sure how probable it would be, is to create a reservoir out of two clear cylinders, and have each one on either side of the front bezel.
Okay, so I have a few requirements, maybe that's why I can't seem to find one anywhere
:D
