That's pretty kickass! Maybe I should build a new computer soon so I can play something like this game.
i will get a athlon 64 next year when cpu prices come down from the stratosphere :(
Even the 32bit version should from everything I've read and seen be a noticeable step up the eye candy scale
where did you get this information? I need to see this.Quote:

saw in this thread that Epic's Mark Rein has posted details about an AMD64 port of UT2004, and that the G5 and Linux will also be supported near release. I don't imagine we will see any Mac's at our lan parties however.
We are planning to ship UT2004 on OS X at approximately the same time as the Windows release. It will be published by Macsoft and will also include optimizations for the new G5 processors.
UT2004 will support Linux (both client and server) as well. As with UT2003, Linux support will be included in the box with UT2004. This time we'll make sure it gets mentioned on the box.
In case you also weren't aware of this: the Windows version of UT2004 will include native 64-bit support for AMD Athlon 64. Tim Sweeney and Ryan Gordon demonstrated the 64-bit version of UT2004 at today's AMD64 launch event in San Francisco.
heres your proof
Hopefully it offers more than eye candy though, or it's just going to be like UT2k3, all eye candy and no gameplay :(Quote:

Yup ut2k3 esp TDM died months after the games release it wasn't a very good update to ut1 which still has much better gameplay.Quote:

Please there will be no notice difference in quality from 64-bit to 32-bit...
Yeh but ur gonna get some serious performance gains on 64 bit with all the extra registers.
