Best backup software ?

i was using ghost 2003 to clone my c: drive sector for sector to a backup drive and it works great for that cause you can clone back to c: and it boots and everything is just like it was, the thing is while they claim to support USB drives i don't think they really do, i got it to work once using a hacked driver but when time came to restore it due to a dam trojan it wouldnt see the USB drive so i had to remove the drive and hook it up to the raid controller, it saw it but didn't want to copy the data, finally i just reinstalled windows, downloaded drive image 2002 and made it copy the partition over c: and it worked but it doesnt work with USB drives either, so whats the best backup software to clone your drive with using an external USB hard drive?

btw that virus is a bastard, everything was fine till i restarted the comp, somehow both my 80 gig drive and my 200 gig drive had their partitions deleted...from now on i'll keep NAV running 24/7.

i used to use norton backup now for backups...

work with usb drives at all?
