Yes but since the game is not released you will get a coupon :D To download it with STEAM :) when it is released!
And from what I hear its only the SP version not MP.. But I am not sure :(
STEAM is such a dumb ****ing idea...
I concur. It's like Circuit City and DIVX dvd players. Remember that fiasco?Quote:

No one hasnt noticed that steam is basically valves powerplay thingie from a few years back..Valve never forgets.
powerplay is totally unrelated to steam...powerplay was supposed to be an effort of every developer to help make internet play a more lan like experience...meaning no lag and no connections have a disadvantage...from what I understand I think they wanted to develop a new protocol for internet gaming only...practically every company was onboard with the idea except one...id software...carmack wanted technical details but it was all just hopes and promises so he wanted nothing to do with it...and he was right because it was too good to be true...56k players could have the same experience with broadband which was just dreaming...after the powerplay announcement there wasn't a word about it then...but steam is valve's vision to intergrate their game along with all this functionality like talking to people in games when you're on another game or not playing...things like that...but for now it just seems like a total inconvience for every player out there...I haven't heard anyone say "I like steam"...
heh sorry for going off topic...but there's no way in hell half-life 2 will be released this year...there's a good chance that vampire: bloodlines that is based off of the source engine could be out before half-life 2 actually...hl2 for april 2004...while bloodlines is spring 2004...whenever that is no one knows...
Ugh. Stop... STOP! That was totally retarded BS.Quote:

it's been confirmed a few times that it is indeed the full version with sp and mp
Not this month but maybe next... I don't think they will wait until 2004...it would hurt them too much...alot more than that "leaked" code will...

Just go and distract yourselves to forget about HL2...
The more you talk about it, the harder it is to wait for it...
I got tons of stuff to distract me.
My daughter does the main job as she is purely high maintenance at the age of 1.5 years! :p and then I have so much anime to catch up with on top of plenty of other games to occupy me. Sure I loved the first Half Life and am very excited for the sequel. But my life doesn't revolve around that.
Man, just when I was about to forget about the game you guys brought it up again :(
Need to calm myself down now.
with deus ex 2 and ut2k4 comming in december I don't care about any other game...
Are there any deus ex 2 previews other than the IGN one? The media link for the pics is dead for me =(Quote:
