Title says it all. Anyone got one yet? I know it's still early but I know someone has that money burning a hole in his pocket.

Give it a week or two, someone will get one and it won`t be me.;) :)
I am not getting one till alot further down the road as my present rig is all I need right now. I wouldn't be totally opposed to Intel either, as it all depends on performance when I have the money.;)
No way dude, im waiting for Quantum computers.Quote:

EDIT: Guess it's one of those times that spelling really does count.:D
I might be getting one... but...
I have at least $500 coming to me in the form of a mileage check from work, plus the $200 I had already set aside for an upgrade. I was originally planning on spending the $200 on 512MB PC3200 and a 2500. But, with almost $700 now, I may make the leap. But I may also get the 2500 and 1GB, and a 9800. Don't know though, still debating.
Any help...
A64, mobo, 512MB PC3200, or...
2500, 1GB, 9800 - I think this is the smartest all around move, but an A64 would be nice.
Go with the 2500+, 1GB 9800 and give the A64 time to mature and them to get rid of all the bugs.;)Quote:

Wow nice, where'd you function that? (I want I want!)
I've got $$$ to burn and was gonna get it together with a 9800XT BUT the C man talked me outta it!!!;) Blame him for nobody at SF getting it (I would have been the 1st :p ) HeHeHe!:D Actually, what he told me made sense, wait for the cpu and mobo to mature - all bugs worked out - before getting it. C man's the man to talk to when you're hellbent on spending $$$.:p :D Thanks C man for bringing back some sanity to me.:D
It's tempting to buy it, try it, then ebay it. :)

Well does that mean you're getting a XT? ;) And even if you did get the A64, would you unlazy yourself enough to put it together? Have you put that SLK on yet?
On the other hand you should get it! Be the first here to have one (bragging rights) and put an AMD rig in the top 10 again! *starts voodoo chants*
so you're friend who works in retail is chargin you $50 huh?Quote:
