Since the 8rda3+ doesn't come with Sound Storm but with MCP southbridge, C-media (pretty new on this). I've heard excellent reviews for sound on the 8rda+, but now that the 8rda3+ doesn't. Is it still good sound? Using logitech Z-640. Haven't had time to test it a lot

I'm not certain of how highly you hold sound. If you enjoy good sound quality and would prefer it, then I'd say pick up an Audigy 2. If not, onboard will suffice for some basic noise.
I´m not that pesky about sound. I´ll give it some time then.
how about cpu usuage? being onboard does it affect the system?
