Ive got mine set at 64...is that right or wrong?
i've never actually messed with that setting, but on all 3 of my systems (8k7a, 8kha+, 8rda) it's at 32
64??!! are you sure that's not agp? 64 would almost certainly cause damage to pci cards...64 would be normal for agp cards...
PCI latency, not PCI MHz...
The higher the number, the longer any single PCI device can hog the bus. 32-64 should be fine.
I agree with AMD-Inside,
There is a guide in HERE, they also recommend PCI Lactancy to 64.
Weird, you would think that lower would be better. I just set it to 64. Seemed like my boot time decreased, but its probably just my mind playing tricks...
Doing 128 just fine now.:)
170 isn't causing any problems.:)
Now, I think that I'm hearing "popping" or "drops"...again though, I think its all in my head.:o
Hehe, probably shouldn't listen to MP3s of lower quality to test whether the latency is affecting anything.:o Its all good at 170. Should I even bother going higher?
Lol thats how I came up with 64...Mr Steveo but a differant forum. But was just double checking and kinda wanted a reason behind it.Quote:
