Send a PM to m316Foley. He RMA'd his PM5.1's and got the Ultra's in return. I've talked to him and he is in awe:) I'm not sure what soundcard he has though.

gawwwwwwww.... now i'm thinking i shouldnt spend an extra 150 for speaker that i don't REALLY need. someone help me. i think i've gone crazy.
I own the log 640s and compared to the ultras, it's like comparing a ford model T to a corvette. You'll notice a difference. I can even tell the difference between 320 bitrate and 192 EASILY (and I'm partially deaf in my left ear :)).
EDIT: And that's only with a Live! 5.1 sound card

i don't think there is a ultra logo on the set at all actually...
