Hmm, ran fine for me. Little bit of lag on the explosions, but everything else was smooth.

I don't see why it wouldnt run well even on a gf 4 mx. I mean, the graphics aren't all that great. They're about the quality you'd see on a early dreamcast game. I think it's just the fault of crummy programming and has nothing to do with his actual system specs.
I agree, software writters are getting very sloppy as of late. Take Halo for one  some of the worst programming I have ever seen. On the other hand take Max Payne 2 it has awesome code and it's so pretty too ;) . I guess programmers see that the standards of games goes up so they just write all this bloated code to use it all up, it's the same thing they do with windows. It's not that they need to make it so big a bloated it's that they chose to do so.Quote:

Yeah, structured, efficient programming is the key.
Ninja Turtles runs decent on my Geforce 2 @1024x768. Maybe 30-40fps.
Now I loved the dreamcast but I think the graphics are a bit cleaner that what it was capable of but it by no means pushes the limits. Actually it was a fun game, but I dont think I would pay 50 dollars for it. It would have been a good sequel to the original tmnt arcade game. I was actually impressed with it--if it sells for 20-30 dollars I will probably pick it up. I have a 2.6 athlon and a 4400 gforce 4 (I think--gosh it has been so long since I have upgraded) but it ran great for me. I bet your processor is a bit slow or your memory is low.
Shenmue 1 & 2 ran fine on the dc and this game is definately no shenmue in terms of graphics.Quote:

Hook the dreamcast up to a monitor and I bet you would see the difference I was talking about. Consoles can get away with a bit more because of the lower resolution on a tv. I just thought the graphics were really clean. I hooked my dreamcast up the other day and unfortunately the graphics are starting to date now, such a great system though. I could be wrong but I just dont remember the Dreamcast looking better that that.
I take back my original statement I loaded the game up again and I think the resolution of my monitor was what made it look a bit better than the dreamcast.
