Can anyone be so kind as to tell me how to make iso's using windows 2000. I'd prefer not to need any third party software, I know it's doable using the command line but I don't know what commands to use.

Windows does not have any built in method of making iso files, nero can make iso files after version 5.5 or so, as can roxio.
Hmm I had once made iso's using a w2k 3 in 1 disk given to me by an instructor. It had a command that let you extract each of the installs if you wrote it in the command line and it made them each iso's. I tried nero 6 but they keep coming out as nrg and I want regular iso extensions.
The file that Nero puts out is a ISO, but they just put their NRG extension on it. Simply rename the file replacing NRG with ISO. There is not any other difference.Quote:
