Pretty spiffy. :)
I keep telling myself that I'm gonna make an active desktop someday, but I never get around to it. Doesn't seem like a very efficient way of spending time when I have a quick links bar and desktop icons already. Mine doesn't look nearly as cool, though.
How the hell do you do that?!?!?! That's freaking awesome!!!
I'm curious... What's the sponge factory all about!? lol
Bryce, its a nice idea but I had to remove the Screenshot because it had some content that is inappropriate for Sharkies. You have to be careful of words that appear in screenshots. Take another Screenie with out that Best Page opened and repost it.Quote:

Thanx..
Looks like Maddox got owned. lol
Jeeze. Sorry about that. I will post another later today. I didn't even read it, I just wanted to pick on that worked best with the layout.
And sponge factory is the name of my company. Well it's not really a company, but just my best friend and I develop software under that title.
whoa, so how'd you do that again?
self destruct    :D nice
Basically, you create a web page to do all the stuff for you, and right click on your desktop, go to properties, desktop, customize, web and add the web page. If anyone wants this particular star wars theme, it's no trouble to zip it.Quote:

It looks like there's some security settings that I need to figure out. The webpages that load in that IFRAME refuse to log in or anything like that- I think it has to do with configuring active desktop. Any ideas?
You know, it would be a whole lot easier and cooler if you made an image and just applied an image map to it. I think I'm going to try that.
Post when you're done. I think I'm going to make one more graphical in nature and less focused on an integrated browser. I know there's a bunch of applications that do this for you, but basically so I can have tasks and stuff like that built into a calander on my desktop and stuff.
I just did all this but using flashMX 2004, and outputting to html...holy crap it sure does look cool having moving stuff on your background..Ill have to take some screenies, but you dont get the effect of a rotating, masked, menu for perusing your hard drives :D
