How can I get one??
You had to sign up when they were accepting the applications.
Any idea on when this is supposed to go gold?
Damn, if my friend gets one of these I won't see him for weeks!
freaking evercrack addicts. :(
Should go gold a little before Thanksgiving seems like.
I beleive the release date is in November.
yea it seems most mmorpg's does that to people. I got addicted to SWG before I just quit cold turkey...was taking up too much of my time. I'm a little afraid to start this one for the same reason.Quote:

I suspect I will be sick a couple days from work when it launches...

Lol that is so damn true, I remember when I was into AC2 pretty hardcore...every month on patch day somehow I always managed to come down with a 1 day flu :DQuote:

I already told my boss I'll be "sick" the day EQ2 comes out. He just laughed. Then again he's one of the coolest bosses I've ever had.
BTW...This game is flat out awesome.
Anyone else here playing?
I've heard the graphics are very nice but the colors are all really dull. Like mostly green, another shade of green and brown are the predominant colors. I got hooked on WoW during the stress test beta so I guess I'll just have to wait till it's out to get my fix.
I never really got into the whole EQ thing, seemed like to much of a grind to me. So unfairly I haven't even given EQ2 a chance...the only way I will consider EQ2 now is if WoW turns out to be a flop (which I seriously doubt since I loved the stress test)
Grinding is a part of any MMO, its just worse on some than others.
In EQ live I heard the grind wasn't that bad because you leveled pretty appropriately as you raided.
The biggest complaint about EQ was the timesink.
I can't wait for EQ II personally :)
