quite possibly the first pc game i'll play online.
man I always wanted a sci-fi battlefield style game and this is it...I was really interested in the concept when it was first announced...but after reading this quake wars is my #1 game that I'm looking forward to...
one thing that I'm EXTREMELY happy to see is that players can actually be stealthy...people hiding in shadows and reading that a sniper who zooms in on a player while hiding can barely see him is really cool...I hate it in battlefield games where player models just stick out from the surroundings making them extremely easy to spot...

Holy crap im blown away after reading that. The megatexture stuff sounds too good to be true? A 6GB land texture that uses 8mb video memory, but without any resolution degredation? ***? lol
It was voted one of the top ten games of 2006 to watch out for by Pc Gamer. Looks hot...yeah...so hot...interesting to how this will fair against unreal 2007

foliage hiding - i found in pretty unrealistic in AA when someone with a M4 can see a sniper at the same distance and out snipe him.

It looks to good to be true tho - a 6 GB texture compressed to use only 8Mb of vid memory ?? I hardly think so . For sure this new game will need some heavy duty computer hardware.
