It's on CNBC, so I'm assuming it will focus on the financial side of things. Probably discuss projected numbers for the holidays and investment potential in public companies such as EA.
I know the show is going to have some interviews with some industry people and have a segment on the Atari company.
Knowing CNBC this show is going to be aired again at some later date.
If you miss the 9pm showing they have a midnight airing as well.
I thought the two hour show was great.
The first hour was more documentary like with alot of history of the first arcade and video game machines. A lot on the Atari company.
The second hour included segments on game violence, second life, A make a wish kid and what he wanted, the Playstation, Nintendo and the XBOX.
Now if you missed this show they are going to air the sucker again on Sunday night at 9pm.
I thought it was pretty decent. Obviously, a lot of detail was left out on some things, but they only had two hours, so I think they did a pretty good job. I didn't like how some parts were put together, though; for instance, they were talking about Mario on the NES, showing clips from the game. Then, they talked about how Sega created Sonic to compete, but they were showing clips from the later, 3D games, so there seemed like a sort of disconnect between what they were talking about and what they were showing. I noticed stuff like that a few times that kind of annoyed me, but that's just a minor complaint.
I watched it as well. The first part brought back so many memories! I AM a product of the video game era. Gamers 4 life! lol
