I keep going back and forth on if i want to pick one up tonight or skip it and get Zelda for the GC. I think it would be fun to play a lot of the Sports games with my gf or even Mario Party when it comes out, but I wonder how long the novelty will last before it wares off. We'll see how I feel after the OSU/Michigan game tonight.
I'll be picking one up tomorrow when Gamestop opens.
Well it is just one review, one person's opinion.Quote:

I am excited by the possibilities of the new controller though. Gaming has gotten pretty stale, the emphasis seems to be on polygons and effects instead of gameplay. The buzz around the Wii kind of reminds me of the early days of the arcade -- yes there were plenty of me-too titles, but it seemed like there was steady stream of fresh ideas and gameplay elements. There were games for the hardcore (Defender) and games that the non-gamer could enjoy (Pac-man).
Nintendo is starting to capture some of that with the DS, with quirky titles like Brain Age and Cooking Mama -- so I'm hopeful that the Wii carry the torch.
I watched a CNN anchorette do a feature on the PS3 and Wii today. They had a "professional" gamer show off the PS3, but she jumped right in and played Wii Tennis with him and you could tell she was having a blast.
Yeah I'm certaintly getting it in the next few months. I know that there will be some really neat games that are totally different and unique, just like the DS. I can't wait to play Zelda and Mario Galaxy.
I don't see a single reason to own a PS3, an XBOX360 and Wii is perfect. You get that next gen hi-def experience with the 360 and some great original games coming out like Mass Effect and Blue Dragon. And the Wii with all the unique games and Nintendo staples.
I'll get a PS3 if the price drops and games like God Of War and Devil May Cry 4 are really worth dropping the dime for, but will see. So far the PS3 is being hyped up for sequels, I see a lot more original content coming out for the 360 and Wii.
Girlfriend is getting me one for Christmas, can't wait! I think it will be a great supliment to my 360 and is something guests can jump right into and have a good time.
No, because I am pretty sure my friend will buy one :p
Yeah, I'm going to try to snag one tonight.
I'm not convinced their remote is everything it's cracked up to be. I'm gonna wait and see what the masses think about it first.
I voted yes, but not right away. Maybe in april for my birthday, getting a 360 for x-mas.
I want one, but I really cant justify spending the money to purchase one. I'll probably pick up a used one on ebay once the price drops and there are tons of good games out for it. Also, I'm not a big fan of the gadget controller.
Take a guess
I'm not buying one. It's not that I don't want one, but I hardly have enough time for gaming right now.
