Yes, you can paint aluminum. You can do it with paint for aluminum, works ok. Or you can acid etch then use enamel and heat cure it. Basically you wipe it down with a mild acid like vinegar, then cure the paint at 225f for a couple of hours. Or you can anodize them.Quote:

Be aware the LL cases have a protective coating on them. Silicon based oil would be my guess. You'll have to get rid of that before you paint them.
Im sorta thinking about using my old case again. And if i did that id like to paint the inside. DOnt want to do anything like heat cure it though. That would require resorces i dont have.
So, is there like a spray paint designed for aluminum that doesn't need heat curing?
