I've been looking around but some sites look fishy. What is a good honest website to buy this thing from? I wouldn't mind also being able to buy the micro flash card from the same site as well.
Thanks

actually gbatemp will be you favorite DS resource... they list all the new releases each day... and thats when you find out that 99% of the DS releases are garbage :o
Thanks a lot. Like I said a lot of the sites that come up with a google search look very fishy. I think I will order from Jandaman's and get the microSD card locally.
I got my EZFlash 3-in-1 and R4DS from Jandaman's, and I didn't have any problems with them. Unless you can get the micro chip for cheap locally, I would just buy it from NewEgg. I bought a few Kingston 1GB chips from them at 11 dollars a piece. The 1GB that was being sold at Target costs 32 bucks. This was about 8 months ago though.
I was looking on Newegg for the flash card but I have so many orders out right now I didn't want to complicate things more by buying another thing online. I will do it if the price difference is that much though
just check slickdeals.net every day... theres usually a 2gb microSD deal about once every couple of weeks for like $20 or so
I bought 3 from here: http://www.realhotstuff.com/r4ds-p-184.html no problems. However they are currently showing out of stock on it.
I hear a lot of things about the R4DS, I think either in Japan or the UK they are being sold in stores with a disclaimer that says "Do not ask us any questions about this product."
But why all the buzz about this chip? It certainly isnt the first product of its kind.
Probably the price. You can pick one up for about 40 bucks.Quote:

The G6DS still reigns supreme IMHO.
r4ds is the best bang for buck... i would say the cyclods is the best but expensive. a priblem with the r4ds is the spring loaded microsd slot... it breaks very easily... a good portion of r4ds owners have reported tjis issue
I got my R4DS from online. It has worked out pretty well for me so far.
