motherboard in dell dimension9100?

anybody ever replaced mobo in dell dimension9100 ?

I've replaced a few in their Optiplex systems, but not the Dimension systems. However, I will tell you this. If the mounting mechanism is anything like the Optiplex, you can't use after market parts because they don't use screws to mount the board to the mobo tray. They use some kind of proprietary clip mounting mechanism. In fact, whenever they've sent me parts for a warranty replacement of the motherboard, they just send the entire motherboard already mounted to the mobo tray, then you simply lock the entire thing into the chassis.

Ya can't use you're Dell cd either with a non Dell BIOS.
