The small downside for now is that you do have a 500GB limit for that price and then pay extra for each GB you use.

I'd be ok with that!
It's interesting how many of these "me too" gigabit offerings have popped up in the last week. I'm excited, but also worried that they are trying to grab headlines now, and they won't follow through with the service offerings later on after the excitement has died down.
*Edit: Which is not to say that I wouldn't fight to be first in line if the service was offered in my area. Because I totally would.
I agree. I think with Google coming in with the super fast service they are going to make the rest of the players move faster to gigabit internet.
