PC build website?
Looks like there's not much going on here but I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with this. A few years ago someone here mentioned a pretty cool website that had a list of all different brand and model PC hardware devices. You could pick and choose all of the components and it would tell you which components were compatible with which motherboards, etc. it even had pricing. Does that ring a bell for anybody?

I think you are looking for:
https://pcpartpicker.com/
There are other sites which provide barebones start's such as cyberpowerpc.com, ibuypower.com, etc.

The site possesses three primary points of interest – the search feature, the right column, and making a post.

Stopping the flashing is almost impossible. Activating the task manager shows the running/notresponding for several apps, the application can not be stopped - only in the 'stop process box' the shaking application can be killed. Strange: sometimes the taskmanager looses all its tabs and buttons: only the first (main) screen is visible) and the taskmanager cannot even be stopped. Once Outlook has been stopped, the flashing/shaking in other apps is less. But only a restart of the computer stops all shaking - till Outlook is used with more than one window.
