DCOP Communications error (linux)
This morning I was being lazy and just wanted to boot indo kde to check a website rather than turn on my other comptuer (I use my linux box headless usually for command line stuff)
Anyway, I get an error when I try to get into KDE, Gnome, and in Blackbox anytime I use any of the "kprograms" such as terminal.
Here is the error window's contents
Code:
There was some error setting up inter-process communications for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not read network connection list.
/home/MYUSERNAME/.DCOPserver_dhcppc3_:0
Please check that the dcopserver is running
The MYUSERNAME was changed by me,a nd the dhcppc3 is given to me by my router.
