I'm curious as to why site like Sharyextreme.com don't change the appearance of the site? Change the colors or something.

When you have a winning formula that people enjoy, you tend to want to keep it that way, although of course change each now and then is good... i don't think they should change the layout/design/colors too soon

We've actually been through a few design changes, mostly to make the site more readable (we started out with a black background!), or easier to nav. But major redesigns can suck up a lot of time and we'd rather put the effort into content.
