it's a new stepping of a t-bird that allows you to overclock easily with only air cooling...like....a 1.2 ghz t-bird axia could overclock to like 1.4-1.5 ghz or higher with just air cooling..
REAAAALY.... cause I have 2 of these babies.. are they hard to come accross?

Ive seen AYHJA (can OC to 1.7 sometiimes!!!) for only slightly more than the AXIAs. neither cpu is too hard to find
How can I tell if my chip is an AXIA without actually taking the HSF off? Can I use WCPUID to check the stepping?
If I can, is the stepping I'm looking for 2-2?

AXIA is the stepping that will be printed onto the CPU itself. I'm afraid there aren't any programs that reveal the stepping of the CPU in software.
Oh yeah the new AXIAR stepping makes 1GHz goto around 1.5GHz
