Releasing a super duper KT266A weeks before the KT333. I hope the KT333 isn't what its cracked up to be.

MoM anyword on cpu voltages? That AK35GTR has me feeling light headed with its 2.3v

If the 8KHA3 is a KT266A chipset, I think it will own the KT333 as well, the reason is because it'll will basicly be a 8k7a with the 266a chipset, I personaly think the best motherboard out right now is the 8k7a, simply because it's perfect for everything I do. I don't like soldering connections to increase Vcore, and the 2.10v allowance of the 8k7a is the only way I can achieve high FSB speeds with a fast cpu as well.

I am just basing this off of what I assume the KT333 to be, and that is, basicly a very small boost in performance and allowance for people to have there memory run 33mhz faster then the core. My periphials can handle 170 fsb, my memory can handle that and not much else, but if I had the KT333, and used it's 33mhz increase for RAM i'd run my other parts at 137, which just isn't acceptable, i'd have to run it normal and all I would end up with is a smaller performance boost that is basicly like upgrading a AMD761 to a KT266a. So from my perspective it will be the best board out.

Someone else from AthlonMB mailed EPoX and they replied stating that it would have a different voltage regulator, allowing for extreme Vcore voltages. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2002/02/3.gif
