I replaced the GeForce, and got my Radeon 64, yeah! It is a Radeon "SE" with the 5ns memory and big black HSF. It works fine, all my games work fine. Well, almost fine. I have two three problems.
1. It is really slow. Like 50fps in CS. 2269 3D marks in 3DMark 2001. I am running the 7115 BETA drivers. DirectX 8a. I have tried all the settings I can think of.
2. Everything is "choppy". It got better after I increased the AGP aperature, but it is still choppy. My TNT1 had a better feel in games because it held 21fps and it was not choppy.
3. It is not rendering everything. Like everything directly infront of me is all rendered, then in front of that it is like half rendered, and then a little in front of that it is rendered a little less. It gets to the point where at the end of the screen just the basic color of the texture is visible.
The slowness does not really bother me as much as the other too, I can get over it. But 2300 3D marks on my system is really bad.
My system:
ATI Radeon 64mb DDR VIVO "SE"
AMD Athlon 1.13Ghz / 266Mhz
FIC AD11 (AMD 760 DDR)
128mb 266Mhz DDR memory
Also, how do I uninstall these ATI drivers correctly? With the D3s I just used detonator destroyer and it worked good, is there a program like that for ATI drivers or do I just use the "Add/Remove" programs thing to get rid of them?
