Ahem.. I soaked my mouse with coke..

It's a Microsoft Intelimouse Optical.
And i can't seem to get the darned thing open...

The 2 left mousebuttons are sticky, and it would be easy to clean if i got it open..

Hmm... Water.. Electric device.. Rings a bell of warning. And i wouldn't be able to use it for many hours to be sure that there were no water left in it..

But if i had some destiled water. *hmm*
Almost got it open btw! There are two clips on the front part of the silver plastic that can be opend with a flat headed screwdriver..

But i can't see what's holding it together in the back of it..

I'll probably break it pretty soon..

The easiest way to get the thing to work is to get a new one to replace the one you destroyed.

My MS mouse with Intellieye has those long plastic things at the bottom front and back. I can see that there is a screw under the back one.

I don't think it's the same model.. Mine has for dark grey pads..

There are two screws unreneath those black rubberpads on the back part of the mouse!
I used a dental tool too remove them without having to break them.. They were really hard to see through the red plastic.

i have one too, my sister put gum all over it... i told her to go spend $60 on a mouse...

anyway...i hope you can put those pads back on, because if you can't, you'll have to break out the gum i mean superglue to put it back on.
