Best graphics applications?

I'm sure that this question has been asked before, but I really didn't feel like going and searching through all the threads to find the answer...guess I'm just lazy. But anyway, like the topic says...I'm looking for the best graphic programs/applications. I already have Bryce 5 and Adobe Photoshop 6.0. I'm working on web page graphics and some other free-lance graphics jobs for local bands in my area. So if anyone knows of some other good graphics applications I would greatly appriciate some input. Also, I'm looking for good Photoshop plug-ins as well. Price really isn't much of an object, as I have a whole lot of money to burn at the moment. =) That's a nice feeling for once. will you be doing any 3d graphics? otherwise, Photoshop is great. some good plugins:

Kai's Power Tools 6 (I think that is the latest version)

Eye Candy 3.0

I'm looking into posibly doing some 3D graphics...if I can find some software that won't completely break the bank...I can afford most graphics prices but nothing like over $1500 for one piece of software. That's just pure insanity.

You mentioned web pages, do you have Flash or Fireworks (both by Macromedia)?

I have Flash 4...but I'm still learning it. I don't have Fireworks though. What exactly does it do...I'm not quite sure.

Fireworks is for web-graphics. Basically it automates the making of rollover scripts and other fancy java graphics. It lets you slice up images, make image maps and lots more. I use it every day.

front page 2k(for tables only, DW sucks for tables)
flash 4 AND 5
fireworks 4
photoshop 6

thats just mainly for WEBPAGES. but i got a crapload of other graphic apps

You can get a combination package of DW4 and FW4 - I have that. Only bad thing I suppose is that the DreamWeaver is the one without Ultra Dev. So if you're gonna be programming .asp and using SQL etc you'll have to buy that as an addon.

my favorites are Jasc Paintshop with the animaiton shop and Adobe PhotoShop 6.0.
