Which one is better?
Which one is easier to use?
I've been told that some people don't like PHP because of it's "open-source" nature, while Cold Fusion has more strict guidelines...I'm not sure if that sort of thing influences my decision. The limited PHP work I did do was nothing but enjoyable. I found the language amazingly easy, intuitive, and poweful.
So if you had the choice of one over the other, which one would you go with and why?
I'd go with ColdFusion myself. For one, it's an incredibly easy language to learn, very similar to languages like HTML. Also, it's probably the one of the most popular web design languages out there. ASP has more fans, but the hardcore coders stand by it
