will 300 be enough...?

hi guys,
i had a major problem a few days ago. i'd actually thought i'd burned my mobo, when in fact my psu had died on me. http://dev.www.sharkyforums.forums.relay.cool/ i still haven't figured out why that'd happen.
can an unseated vid card do that? later i tried it without video and just one fan, and it seemed to go smoking again (who said smoking wasn't addictive..?!) https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/4.gif
and how many case fans (80mm) can i daisy-chain to one connector?
will 300W be enough for this:

sk-6 with 80-60 adaptor
and 5 80mm case fans

Yes, 300W is more than enough & IMO you can daisy chain a few fans. You can't go wrong with an Enermax, or even a Sparkle.
I also have a Antec that works fine. Good Luck..

i donno... i got a fortran or something from coolerguys (with one of their cases, since i don't have the time right now in the middle of the semester to do any modding, and this is for a friend), and it seems to have died on me. any idea if i can revive it...?
