any of you ever heard of Digital Explosion? im having a really hard time finding any of their music at any bitrate other than 128 and its making me mad. if anyone has any of it at a higher bit rate can you possibly send me some or something? lol

Sorry I can't help ya out with finding higher quality music files, but if your into techno, check out DJ Liquid . He/she is my favorite DJ, they make some awesome music.
303infinity, basement jaxx, chemical brothers, brooklyn bounce, uberzone has some tight beats, christopher lawrence, phasio has some really fast beats, tunnel trance control does as well too. thats all the new artists i have a lot of. i have a bunch of others too but ill tell you next time i see you on the messenger.Quote:

I have a lot of tunes on my HDD but not much techno... I too am in the process of re-acquiring my tunes at 192kbps or better. I have cut 2 of my own mixes using Sonic Foundry (did some of my own samples and all the crossfades as well) which are mostly house/progressive with a little techno but I'd like someone's opinion who is familiar with the genre -- if you'll care to give 'em a listen Saturday.

And Squirrel ... here's a quick list of the ones I have on my drive. About 2000 are MIA because my mp3 CD's are still out on loan -- almost all of my techno and older rock stuff. I dunno about you but being that I have 56k and the LAN has DSL access... I am gonna download like mad between games. :D

That was only my second time playing DoD and I actually enjoyed it this time. The first time I wasn't so hot on it, it looked like a really crappy mod and I couldn't understand why people like playing it. Maybe I just like being on the Axis team better. :D

yeah, i didnt like dod very much last time either. but i think that was due to the fact that i was getting my *** kicked pretty hard. this time i was doing fairly well. although you did have some pretty sweet shots on me! ouch! i didnt get much pizza. i didnt eat the supreme cause i hate mushrooms!!! everyone ate the pepperoni pizza right up! i will hopefully see you at the next lan. mabey by then i will have a new hd and like an extra 500 or so mp3's for you to leech off of me :D.Quote:

I like techo music (some) but it's very simple music. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just very repetitive and some of it gets real annoying after awhile.

well i dont think techno is very simple at all. techno is a very broad music. some stuff is very repetitive. it all depends in the type of techno genre you are listening to. try some crystal method or some chemical brothers. i bet you would like basement jaxx. i love them.Quote:
