Well, we'll see what happens. If I don't come back within the night, I probably killed it. I've got clear nail polish, scotch tape, a magnifying glass, and a defroster repair kit. Any last minutes instructions, oh great OC Crusaders?

Good luck! :D
alright...what is the best way to remove the HSF? Its the biggest pain in the butt. Is there any secret way to do it that you would reccomend.
Umm... Very carefully? If you have to use a screw driver, it wouldn't hurt to put tape on it so it won't be so sharp should it slip and hit the mobo.
Good luck ;)
GL, sir! :D
Take your time and go slow. Make sure none of your connections are touching each otherQuote:

Don't worry...I'm taking plenty of time, letting each pit dry before I go on to the next one.Quote:

Saps...what exactly would happen if my connections were touching each other?
The multiplier will either not unlock or unlock improperly e.g. set it for 12 and get 11; wierd stuff like thatQuote:

Be VERY careful not to get any on the little triangle by the L1's either as this will void your unlock as well ;)
but all of that is reversable though...correct? I can put some rubbing alcohol on it and start over.Quote:

about half-way done...extremely tedious, but it'll be worth it though. :D

cant u feel the sweat coming on. from the fear of screwing up hehe?
But somepeople, work best under pressure :)
The suspense is killing me....
I went the OC route with one of those kits, and even with the ease of removal of starting again, it was quite nerve-wracking.
alright...I've got the nail polish in now...moving on to the defogger kit next...almost there. :D Being extremely careful...sorry that the suspense is killing you Vince...:p
No problem, I'm working on a few reviews right now and I need something to keep me sharp and alert. :)
This thread is quiet........
...... a little too quiet. :D
don't worry Vince, half-way done with the defogger now. Almost there...can just about taste it now. But still being extremely careful.
AHHHHHH!!!!
Quiet did you say...
:D
You can do it champ. :D
3 bridges down...2 to go. Messed up on the 3rd once, so I had to go back and get rid of it and start over. Ohwell...live and learn.
fifth bridge down...letting it dry, and then I'm gonna fire it up. We'll find out if it works in a few minutes.
*crosses fingers*
Make sure all the bridges are nice and dry before firing up. Btw, don't forget to place a thin layer of nail polish or tape over the bridges so that it stays unlocked. :)Quote:
