Good idea bombed. Terrible paint and was unable to buff and wax it. Blowhole came out kinda weird, too. Hopefully, Crock (Working title) will turn out a lot better.
damn....nice lian-li TAZ....how'd you do the little spotlights shining down on the dvd drive? those are damn cool!

put the 2 120mm holeson the top
put hole for the yellow window in
put the 2 80mm holes in
Paint the other side panel
paint the top.
put my new psu in with the wrapped cabels.
I should have time tommorow to work on it.
Take your time, you don't want to mess up going to fast. Besides that all the fun will over before you know it. I am already thinking over other mods to do and its only been 2 weeks. LOL
TAZ you must really know what your doing , your cases look incredible man . I also like Ashpool's and pwain's and Icefox yours is different but none the less cool.
Damn I don't know what's up with me web server...maybe they got smart and don't let you direct link anymore. If you really want to see it, then drag the picture to the address bar.Quote:

Yea it is. The best mouse EVER! It is so much better than my Microsoft Intellimouse Optical and Logitech Optical. The only bad thing is that it is damn expensive and not in stock at alot of places. I paid about $90.Quote:

I think I may eventually mod my case.
I'm thinking of a 92mm Tornado mount right above my hsf or maybe right under it, so I don't have them right on top of each other (Alpha and the Tornado are very tall, let alone alpha then 2 Tornados).
I have a question about modding sides though... How do you extend the wire long enough to allow you to open and shut the case without cluttering?
I've seen that a lot of you have cases with fans modded to the sides, although I can't figure out how to get the wire goin'. :p
If I do in fact do this mod, my case will in end be 2 80mm Tornados and 1 92mm Tornado. :D
I think it'll be time for a Rheobus for my 3 Torandos then. :D
This is what I did for my Black & Gold Case.
I extended a two wire fan an extra 10" with a molex connector on the end. I had another molex connector going into my Baybus. When I removed the side panel there was enough play in the wire to move the panel to the front of case or under the computer stand. If needed to I could disconnect the molex connectors.. ;)
K, thanks. I think it might be time to breakout the drummel tool.Quote:

Oh yeah, how do they work for case-cutting? I want something that'll give me a clean cut. :p
Skil Saw, if you don't mind throwing money around a bit.Quote:

But Dremel's are good if it's all you got. I only use mine for smoothing things out and opening up start holes.
Nice room. I thought you owned everything SONY, then I saw your TV. Why did you get a Symphonic?Quote:

I'll post some pics tomorrow, I just finished modding my case.

Also, how do you know how much to cut for the fan you're using (I'm using a 92mm), like what should I use for the trace?
I know drilling the holes around it wouldn't be a problem since I can just use the fan itself as a tracker, but the sizing the circle around the fan seems like it could be tricky. :p
You can get templates for all the fan sizes at HiTechMods or just use the fan grill & trace around the outsides.
