I'm not shure if you can find a Ti4200 that do 300/600
Unless you water cool it...
280/560 looks nice I only get 280/540 but I need another case fan.
There are some Ti4200s that can do 300/600 on stock cooling. My friend's BFG Tech 128MB Ti4200 can do that. I was the one that sold it to him :D. Sorry T-Bird.
You can drop him an e-mail if you really want but I don't think he's going to sell. You can catch him at [email protected]
guess ill keep looking. Is it really that hard to get 300/600? some guy had an albatron ti4200 at 280/660 no mods stock cooled too. shouldnt 3.5ns ram be good for 570MHz? this means 560MHz is just shy of the ns stock rating
Damnit Tbird... you just got a TI4600...... what do you want with a TI4200???

15k of course, what else? :p you are talking to a certified 3dmark whore here, its so much more special getting it on a ti4200 none the less, also I know my ti4600 gets eaten by some ti4200s
3DMark whore hard at work.:D
Search for the albatron ti 4680. It's a ti4200 with 3.3ns(?) DDr memory chips. It might help youQuote:

There were several VC companies putting out 4200`s with 3.3ns ram and I believe you will need one of these to achieve your goal. The only bad thing about it is they may be selling for almost the same price as a 4600.
I've got a PNY 4400 that'll do 300/600 if you're interested.
regular TI4200 cards will never reach 600 on the memory. My MSI maxes out at 330/575
I have had my 4200 with 4ns memory upto 305/640. Edit to add, so far.:)Quote:

wow 640 ram, did ya volt mod? 330 core oc from a ti4200 is just as amazing, many wont do 300
No, I have done nothing, but replace the thermal compound that come on the core with AS3 and put some ram sinks on the ram with the thermal tape that came with it. The ram sinks are made for the small square ram, not the ram I have it only covers about 1/3 of my ram. I wonder how much futher I will get with my ram, with ram sinks that are make for it.Quote:

Many will do 300MHz on the core if you find the correct stepping. The A3 stepping was the most reliable in terms of getting 300MHz from a Ti4200.Quote:

my core gives minor artifacts at 300 but locked up at 290. could it be a heat issue? im using stock cooling there. Is that how you get 300 core, you use a big heatsink with a powerful fan?
Could be a combination of hitting a physical limit/heat/lack of voltage. Very hard to tell, but from the sounds of it, you don't seem to own an A3 version of the GeForce4 NV25 core. My Ti4600 uses the A2 core and it doesn't overclock very well.Quote:

omg wow that is a great overclock, could be the ticket to 15k on an amd rig on a ti4200 none the less, too bad I paid less than that for a ti4600. That ti4200 is too rich for my blood, maybe next year when it drops in price
You do know it would be hard to find a GF4 4200 that will do 300/600 on stock cooling.... The GF4 4400 has a better chance of doing that :D
Mine does 302/670 or so with stock cooling...
I bought this cheap Pandex (I never ever heard of the company before) at the local computer shop and I can get like 315/620 with it but I'm afraid of keeping it there since it doesn't have heat sensors so I'm not sure how hot it's running. It does 300/600 pretty easily though for 3dMark... sorry its not for sale TBird but I just thought you'd like to know :D
BTW my MSI GF4200 has 4ns memory but is an A3 stepping:D
I had 2 Ti 4200's that did 300/600 stock cooling.
One was a 64mb that came with my Dell, and one was a Visiontek 128mb one from Wal-Mart.
I got through 2k1 a few times at 310/615.
mine does 300/600 ROCK STABLE AND the fan doesnt spin... lolol
pretty funny if u ask me.
